About The Design Process

Peke’s Design Process

• Step 1: Set up an appointment to come out and discuss the project
  When you call Peke Construction, we will set up a time to come out to give you an estimate. Upon arrival we will go over your specific needs and wants regarding your project. We take measurements and pictures. We show photos of our work. We bring samples of different types of products we use.
  
  
• Step 2: Design
  Once we have all of our information from our first visit, we go back to our office and draw designs on our computer to present to you at our next meeting. Our design process usually takes one to two weeks, depending on the size of the project.
  
  There are many factors that go into the design of a patio, deck or screen porch: the design/style of the house; the size of the yard; the scale and proportion of the deck to the house and yard; entertainment and use expectations; connection to and with future projects; and budget, just to name a few. Our goal is to provide you with a design (or designs) that take all of these elements into account, is as aesthetically pleasing as possible, and allow you a variety of options.
  
  
• Step 3: Set an appointment to present the proposal
  Once our designs and estimates are ready, we set up an appointment to return and go over any drawings and estimates with you. At that point, we can discuss any changes that you might want to make. You will see the different options that we have drawn to get a better idea of what you might like.
